Born in Maymyo, Myanmar, on 13th February 1957, from U Mya Thaung and Daw Ma Ma Gyi.

Childhood art mentors were U Bathar Kyawt San Key (2 BEHS) and U Tin Aye (Sein May Win Cinema) of Maymyo.

Self-developed and full-time artist.

A free-lance author.

First printed illustrations in Annual magazine of University of Medicine, Mandalay, 1979.

First Collective Art Exhibition “Multi-Coloured Grassland”: 1981 December, University of Medicine, Mandalay.

The show’s name is “M”

M

Miraculous word “M” means modest but marvellously “Mom” and moreover Majestic Mandalay, Magical native Maymyo, Momentous time of University of Medicine, Magnificent Memories, Maxims, Munificent, Mindfulness and many many more.
